Your 5-Day Luxury Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park- Distance: 140 km

Your private luxury safari begins with a prompt pick-up from your Arusha hotel or the airport at 8:00 AM. From there, we will drive to Tarangire National Park, which takes approximately two hours (120 km). Upon arrival, you will immediately begin a thrilling 4-to-5-hour game drive.

Tarangire National Park Highlights:

  • Elephants: Marvel at the large herds of elephants, often with playful calves in tow.
  • Diverse Wildlife: Spot lions lounging under trees, giraffes grazing in the open plains, and zebras and wildebeests migrating through the park.
  • Birdwatching: Look out for a variety of bird species, including the striking African fish eagle and colorful lovebirds.
  • Scenic Landscapes: The park’s baobab trees and the winding Tarangire River offer beautiful vistas perfect for photography.

Lunch will be served inside the park. After the game drive, we will proceed to your accommodation for the night, Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge, offering luxury and comfort.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park- Distance: 205km

Following breakfast at Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge, we will drive to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. This scenic journey takes approximately 4 to 5 hours (250 km). Once you arrive, you will enjoy a spectacular afternoon game drive across the vast Serengeti plains.

Serengeti National Park Highlights:

  • The Great Migration: Depending on the time of year, witness the awe-inspiring migration of wildebeests and zebras.
  • Big Cats: The Serengeti is famous for its high density of lions, as well as cheetahs and leopards.

Day 3: Serengeti Hot Air Balloon Safari

Start your day early with a breathtaking hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti. This flight provides a unique, bird’s-eye perspective of the wildlife and landscapes below. Afterward, you will celebrate your landing with a luxurious champagne breakfast in the bush. You will then spend the rest of the day enjoying a private game drive.

  • Predator Sightings: Look out for lions on the prowl, cheetahs sprinting after prey, and leopards lounging in trees.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater.

After breakfast, we will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is approximately a 3-hour drive (200 km). Upon arriving, we will descend into the crater for a remarkable 4-to-5-hour game drive.

Ngorongoro Crater Highlights:

  • Big Five: Encounter lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, and leopards in this unique ecosystem.

This tour provides unique insight into local Tanzanian community life. Following the tour, we will complete our journey back to Arusha, bringing your luxurious 5-day adventure to a memorable close.
