Day 0

On arrival in Arusha, you will be transferred to Summit Lodge for an overnight stay. Relax and prepare for your safari adventure.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park- Distance: 140 km

Your private safari begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00 AM after breakfast. The drive to Tarangire National Park takes approximately 2 hours (120 km). Upon arrival, enjoy a 5-6 hour game drive in the park.

Tarangire National Park Highlights:

  • Elephants: Marvel at the large herds of elephants, often with playful calves in tow.
  • Diverse Wildlife: Spot lions lounging under trees, giraffes grazing in the open plains, and zebras and wildebeests migrating through the park.
  • Birdwatching: Look out for a variety of bird species, including the striking African fish eagle and colorful lovebirds.
  • Scenic Landscapes: The park’s baobab trees and the winding Tarangire River offer beautiful vistas perfect for photography.

Lunch will be served inside the park. After the game drive, transfer to Suricata Boma Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park- Distance: 205km

After breakfast at Suricata Boma Lodge, drive to Serengeti National Park, a journey of approximately 3 hours (150 km). Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the vast Serengeti plains.

Serengeti National Park Highlights:

  • The Great Migration: Depending on the time of year, witness the awe-inspiring migration of wildebeests and zebras.
  • Big Cats: The Serengeti is famous for its high density of lions, as well as cheetahs and leopards.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park
