Day 1 – Romantic Rift Valley Scenery and Flamingo Shores

Furaha Luxury Lodge

Your adventure begins today. After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Tarangire National Park. During the approximately two-hour transfer, you’ll enjoy scenic views of open grasslands, passing traditional Maasai homes and herds of cattle along the way.

Upon arrival, you will check in and head out for your first game drive, discovering what makes Tarangire so special.

The park is famous for its remarkable concentration of elephants and ancient baobab trees that dominate the landscape. You will likely encounter a wide variety of wildlife including lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, and an abundance of birdlife.

In the afternoon, you’ll pause for a picnic lunch before continuing your exploration until evening.

After the game drive, retreat to your lodge, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and settle in for your first night in the wild.

Accommodation: Furaha Luxury Lodge
Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2 – Elephant Kingdom and Baobab Sunset

Central Serengeti Moyo Camp Warangi

Today you journey to the lush and diverse Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful contrast to Tarangire’s open plains. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is a haven for wildlife and remarkable scenery.

Embark on a game drive through groundwater forests alive with monkeys and birdlife before reaching the shimmering shores of Lake Manyara, where thousands of flamingos may paint the water pink depending on the season.

The park is also famous for its elusive tree-climbing lions, which, if luck is on your side, you may spot resting in the branches.

Other highlights include large troops of baboons, giraffes moving through acacia woodland, and hippos in the Hippo Pool.

After your game drive, continue your journey toward the Serengeti for your overnight stay.

Day 3 – Journey to the Endless Golden Savannah

witness the Great Migration

Today you journey into the heart of Tanzania’s most iconic wilderness — the Serengeti National Park.

The drive across the Ngorongoro highlands and into the Serengeti plains is a breathtaking introduction to this World Heritage Site. Golden grasslands stretch endlessly, dotted with rocky kopjes where lions often bask.

Arrive at your luxury tented camp in time for lunch and a short rest before heading out for your first Serengeti game drive.

Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration or encounter resident wildlife including cheetahs, elephants, and hyenas as dusk approaches.

In the evening, enjoy a peaceful dinner under the stars as the sounds of the wild surround you.

Accommodation: Embalakai Serengeti Camp

Day 4 – Immersed in the Heart of the Serengeti

Wake to the soft light of dawn and the distant calls of wildlife. After breakfast — or an optional early morning balloon safari — you will spend the day exploring different regions of the Serengeti.

The central plains, dotted with acacia trees and kopjes, provide ideal hunting grounds for predators. Your guide will tailor the experience to maximize sightings, from lions and leopards to elephants and hippos.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your exploration.

Later, return to camp to relax and enjoy sundowners as the sky transforms into deep shades of orange and red.

Accommodation: Manyara’s Secret Lodge
Meals: All meals included

Day 5 – Final Game Drive in the Cradle of Wildlife

Depart the Serengeti after breakfast and travel through the Ngorongoro highlands toward the Ngorongoro Crater.

Descend 600 meters into this ancient volcanic caldera, home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.

During your game drive, you may encounter black rhinos, lions, elephants, and large flocks of flamingos near the lake. A picnic lunch will be served in a scenic location within the crater.

After lunch, begin your journey back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience.
