Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.

Depending on your arrival time, you may take an optional short tour of Arusha town to experience the local culture and prepare for the adventure ahead. In the evening, your safari guide will provide a detailed briefing about the journey.

Guests may also enjoy an optional short hike to Kilima Moto for beautiful sunset views over the surrounding landscapes.

Day 2 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha for Tarangire National Park, approximately a two-hour drive.

Tarangire is famous for its ancient baobab trees, vast savannah landscapes, and the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania. During your game drive, you may encounter lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many other wildlife species.

At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch near the Tarangire River while watching wildlife gather to drink. Curious monkeys and baboons may wander nearby, adding a touch of entertainment to your safari lunch.

In the afternoon, continue your game drive before heading to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
