Kilimanjaro Mountain

Mount Kilimanjaro National Park is a true description of East African beauty. This park is a home for Africa’s highest point, standing at 5,895 meters (19,340 ft) and also turns out to be the highest freestanding mountain in the whole world. Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as its three dormant volcanic cones “Mawenzi”, “Kibo”, and “Shira” are some of the great attractions that everyone admires. This volcanic massif rises majestically above the surrounding plains, its snowy peak looming over the savannah. The mountain is surrounded by vegetation. There are about 7 different Routes that you can take up to Kilimanjaro Mountain- Marangu, Machame, Lemosho, Rongai, Shira, Northern Circuit and Umbwe routes. Hiking Kilimanjaro is physically and mentally demanding, and should not be under-estimated. With adequate preparation any reasonably fit person can reach the summit successfully.
